Australian National Parks

Australia is a place full of beauty and wonder. This wonderland of animal life and nature, houses more than 3,200 parks, reserves and refuges. Of these parks, the Australian National Parks are among the most amazing.

Of all of parks available to visit in Australia, the most popular are the Booderee National Park, Christmas Island, and Norfolk Island.

Booderee National Park and Botanical Gardens is located right outside of Sussex Inlet. The name "Booderee" means bay of plenty and that is just what this park has to offer. A plentiful array of native flowers, animals and some of the whitest sands on Earth, make this national park a tourist must see.

Christmas Island is unique in that it is an island. Located off of the northeast coast of Australia, more than 65% of this Australian national park is under the care of the park officials. The island was once home to mining activity, but today holds some of the most breathtaking rain forests known to man.

Norfolk Island, by far the most popular of all Australian national parks, were created by nearly 100% volcanic rock. The island is known for its diverse variety of birds and is frequented by tourists each and every year. The island is so popular in fact that it makes up a majority of the tourism proceeds for the island.

While visiting Norfolk Island, you can choose to walk amidst the animals or sit with the flowers. No matter the choice, you will never again see anything more perfect.
